Field Trip Day....

I went on a field trip with the 6th grade band students to hear the Oregon Symphony play. It was a very nice day. My group of 8 kids was extremely well behaved. I knit on the bus and two boys in my group were fascinated. They thought knitting was very interesting. They wanted to know how to start. They thought I knit fast (LOL!). They thought knitting looked complicated. I was tickled that they were even interested and that knitting was a good thing in their eyes.

Sockdown April - Off to a late start

I saw a sock on Ravelry that was posted in the April Sock Knitters Anonymous was lovely, it had symmetry, I wanted to knit it. So I've started on it and done my first picot cuff.
